- If you are committed to selling your home yourself, welcome! We are committed to the concept of a "pure" fsbo website/business and in order to do this you must agree to not advertise your property for sale on any other "for sale by owner" or real estate web site (MLS), while listing on the FSBOVolusia.com website. Buyers must be confident that they are truly buying directly from the owner of the property.
- We're here simply to assist in the "For Sale By Owner" process by offering sellers in Volusia county, Florida and buyers from around the nation and around the world an opportunity to connect over the internet. We are not realtors and aside from our initial fee and supplies, receive nothing in payment from either buyer or seller. We do not provide legal, appraisal, brokerage or any professional real estate services.
- Our one-time $175 fee includes up to eight months listing time (continuous only) on the
site and the use of our sturdy and attractive "For Sale By Owner" yard
sign, one directional sign and one open house sign. Your listing term
expires whenever one of the following events occurs: your property sale
closes, you take your property off the market, you list your property
with a real estate agent or broker or eight months pass from the start
of your subscription.
- Yard signs remain property of FSBOVolusia.com. FSBOVolusia.com does not accept responsibility for accidental injury involving the yard sign or its placement. If your property is within a HOA (home owners association) which has special signage requirements, let us know and we will coordinate with the HOA. If you are in a condo or HOA that does not allow for signs none will be delivered.
- Most signs are installed within five business days.
- No refunds. No pro-rating. Since we incur nearly all of our expenses in the first few days of listing a new property we cannot offer refunds or pro rate services.
- Listings are for one property only and are non-transferable. You must be the legal owner of the property you are listing. You are both owner and seller, therefore advertising your property on a "For Sale By Owner" basis, with yourself named as seller. If you are a broker/owner, you will disclose that fact in the description of your ad.
- The property seller is responsible for the accuracy of their listing. Those knowingly misrepresenting their property will be asked to correct the inaccuracy. Refusal to do so may result in termination of your listing.
- We do not install or deliver signs for properties outside of Volusia County, Florida.
- You agree to pay FSBOVolusia.com $100 for signs not made available for pickup after your listing term expires or for signs damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
